Evan joined the BVH team in June of 2022. Born and raised on a farm in Central Nebraska, Evan received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in architecture at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Evan has been practicing architecture in the Midwest since his first internship in 2005.

From a young age, Evan enjoyed helping his dad fabricate machinery, craft furniture, and renovate homes. These experiences helped form his passion for creating architecture that not only functions well but also elevates the experience. He enjoys collaborating with clients to find unique design solutions that bring their projects to life. This approach has led to his work winning both local and national design awards.

Evan and his wife, Nicole, enjoy spending time outdoors, gardening, and entertaining friends and family on their acreage just outside of Malcolm. You’ll typically find him doing home renovations, golfing with friends, or tinkering in the shop.

What are you reading/watching/doing/listening to right now that is inspiring your work?
Spending time outdoors reminds me to create spaces that give people a sense of place and connection to their surrounding environment.
