Celebrating Growth & Leadership at BVH

Growth takes many forms. It can mean stepping into new responsibilities, becoming a trusted resource for a team, deepening relationships with clients, or finding new ways to make the work around you better.

This year, we’re celebrating three team members whose impact reflects that kind of growth: Alicia Ringer and Sebastian Marquez, promoted to Associate, and Andrew Meyer, promoted to Senior Associate.

Each brings a distinct set of strengths to BVH—from technical expertise and design leadership to mentorship, client relationships, and a commitment to the people and culture that make our studios thrive. We’re excited to recognize the contributions they’ve made and the leadership they’re continuing to develop.

ALICIA RINGER / ASSOCIATE

Alicia has embraced opportunities to lead from an early point in her career, taking initiative both on projects and within the Omaha studio. Her ability to take ownership, communicate clearly, and build strong client relationships has helped create confidence throughout the project process.

She has also reached an impressive professional milestone, becoming one of BVH’s youngest licensed architects. Already putting that expertise into practice, Alicia is stamping and coordinating key project sets while continuing to grow as a leader. Outside of project work, she is an enthusiastic contributor to studio life—organizing events, driving studio Thursday Afternoon Club events (TACs), and investing in the continued energy and connection of the Omaha team. Her initiative, curiosity, and commitment to her studio make this promotion a natural next step in her BVH journey.

SEBASTIAN MARQUEZ / ASSOCIATE

Sebastian approaches design with curiosity, persistence, and a willingness to keep working toward the strongest possible solution. He brings a critical eye to the details while keeping sight of the larger design goals.

Just as importantly, Sebastian has become a dependable presence in the Denver studio. His technical knowledge, collaborative nature, and team-first attitude make him someone colleagues regularly turn to for support. Sebastian’s influence can be seen both in the quality of the work and in the way he helps those around him succeed.

ANDREW MEYER / SENIOR ASSOCIATE

For 10 years, Andrew has brought a deep level of technical knowledge and consistency to BVH projects. His experience in Construction Administration has given him a unique ability to navigate the complexities of bringing design concepts into the built environment, earning the confidence of both project teams and clients along the way.

Andrew’s role at BVH has grown beyond technical execution. He is taking the lead on firm-wide specifications and actively shares his knowledge with colleagues across disciplines. Whether solving a challenging project detail or helping a teammate work through a problem, he brings an approachable optimism and a genuine investment in the success of others.

That same approach extends to Andrew’s relationships with clients. He takes the time to build authentic connections and understand what matters to the people he works with, creating the kind of trust that can grow into lasting partnerships and future opportunities. After a decade of technical expertise, mentorship, and relationship-building, Andrew’s promotion to Senior Associate recognizes the breadth of his impact across BVH.

We’re excited to recognize Alicia Ringer, Sebastian Marquez, and Andrew Meyer on their recent promotions at BVH. Each has made a meaningful impact through their unique strengths—from Alicia’s project leadership, client relationships, and commitment to the Omaha studio, to Sebastian’s design rigor, technical expertise, and collaborative spirit, and Andrew’s decade of technical knowledge, mentorship, and client trust. Together, their contributions reflect the many ways our people help strengthen our work, our teams, and the communities we serve.
