Kit Williams, AIA, LEED AP

Architect / Associate

kwilliams@bvh.com

Originally from Hong Kong, Kit joined BVH in the fall of 2022. After graduating with her Masters Degree in Architecture at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2010, Kit lived in major cities like Beijing, Paris, and New York. Kit enjoys and is energized by the crowd and the craziness that big cities offer.

Being environmentally conscious, Kit has a great passion towards sustainability in architecture. Apart from creating beautiful spatial journeys for end users, she believes that the building itself has to be high-performing so as to reduce the impact to our environment. It is our responsibility as architects to ensure a greener, more sustainable future.

Outside of the studio, Kit enjoys baking during her free time and experimenting with different recipes. After watching The Great British Baking Show, you might find Kit busy in the kitchen covered in flour.

What is your favorite place you’ve visited?
Santorini, Greece. Ocean and beaches are my kind of place.

What project are you most proud of?
It was a renovation of a 2,500 sf lawyer’s office in Hong Kong. It was a tiny project but it was the first project I got to implement a few biophilic design principles in the design. It was satisfying having the client’s complete trust in my expertise and they loved the space.

What is the most impactful thing you’ve learned over the course of your career?
Never stop learning. The world of architecture is so vast that we will never be able to know everything. I always find myself learning new skills and it’s surprising that you can learn so much from people around you.
