Garrett has worked at BVH since May of 2015 shortly after he graduated with his Bachelors of Science in Architecture at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. He received his Master’s in Architecture in May 2017. Garrett has most recently been working on the Nebraska State Capitol HVAC Renovation.

Garrett is interested in using computational tools available without losing the human touch of design. What excites him in design is using technology to create spaces that can change how users live, work, and learn for the better.

His hobbies include spending time with friends and family, attending Husker sporting events and traveling the world as much as he can.

What is the future of architecture and design?
The future of architecture is using modern tools and technology that can help provide great design without losing the positive experiences that can be associated with great spaces.

What is your area of interest or research?
I am interested in using computational tools to design and research spaces that enhance the user experience.

What inspires you?
I love to travel and want to see as much of the world as I can. The places I have been and the people I meet are what inspire me.
