Garrett has worked at BVH since May of 2015 shortly after he graduated with his Bachelors of Science in Architecture at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. He received his Master’s in Architecture in May 2017. Garrett has recently been working with Fremont Public Schools and the Nebraska Army National Guard.

Garrett is interested in solving the problems in every project in a way that is both functional and beautiful. He thrives in executing details of how buildings come together to support overall design concepts.

His hobbies include spending time with friends and family, attending Husker sporting events and traveling the world as much as he can.

What is your favorite place you have visited?
China and Montenegro

What is the future of architecture and design?
The future of architecture is using modern tools and technology that can help provide great design without losing the positive experiences that can be associated with great spaces.

What is your area of interest or research?
I am interested in executing a project from the first conversations all the way through the ribbon cutting ceremony and beyond.

What inspires you?
I love to travel and want to see as much of the world as I can. The places I have been and the people I meet inspire me.
