Joining BVH in 1999, Cleve’s interest in architecture extends beyond pure aesthetics and focuses on  people encountering, interacting and responding to a space. Whether it includes enlightening moments or areas of respite, for him, design is about creating a beautiful experience. His role on project teams includes project management and design, and providing thought leadership in 21st Century learning environments.

Cleve grew up immersed in the arts, and he has continued this passion while serving the community via board appointments for local organizations including the Lincoln Community Playhouse and the Lincoln Arts Council. Additionally, he is inspired by different cultures as a conduit for experiencing the world in a new way.

Cleve is dedicated to his wife, Tina, and their two children. He’s also a big kid at heart and loves kids’ movies. When he’s not spending time with his family outside of the studio, Cleve’s interests include traveling, photography, gardening, woodworking and cooking.
