Sebastian joined BVH in May of 2022. A Lincoln native, Sebastian graduated from UNL with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 2021, and his Masters in Architecture in 2023.
Sebastian has always had an interest in design and the arts. His main drive to enter the field came from a high school CAD class, as well as the works of graphic novelist, Chris Ware.
Outside of the studio, Sebastian’s main hobbies include playing video games, reading, drawing, spending time with friends/family/his cat, and collecting vintage postcards!
What inspires you?
Many things! Movies, TV shows, art, random buildings on the street, product packaging, etc. Design is everywhere!
What is the most impactful thing you’ve learned over the course of your career?
Architecture is about communication.
What is your favorite building or who is your favorite architect and why?
My favorite buildings have to be the Barbican Centre in London. I love Brutalism!
