Sean joined BVH in February of 2025. A Lincoln, NE native, Sean attended both undergrad and grad school at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
As a child, Sean was drawn towards anything he could build with. Legos, Lincoln Logs, you name it. That interest furthered in high school when he had the opportunity to take a couple drafting classes—confirming what he wanted to do for college and beyond.
Outside of the studio, you can find Sean enjoying family activities ranging from sports to traveling to new places. An avid Husker fan, Sean is guaranteed to be cheering on any and all sports that get the chance to be televised. A round of golf in the summer keeps Sean entertained (he pioneered the BVH golf league!), and you can find him hitting the bowling lanes during the winter time. Lastly, Sean is also a certified master diver.
What is your favorite place you’ve visited?
Ecuador / Galapagos Islands. It is intersting to see how other places thrive with less than what we are accustomed to.
What is the most impactful thing you’ve learned over the course of your career?
1) There is always more to learn; 2) Be open to change.
Just because what you think is good or the best option, there might be a better product, program, etc. out there.
What inspires you?
Completing great work for our clients that they are happy with, then seeing the occupants utilize the building to its potential.
