Matt is a project manager for a variety of new construction and renovation projects, including education, office workspace, retail, religious, and art centers. He has worked hard to build diverse knowledge of architectural design, incorporating a multitude of facets, including material composition, spatial progression, engineering integration and sustainable design practices. Inspired by listening to the ideas of the client, Matt’s passion is to expose the building user to the opportunities that come with great design — that even the most ordinary places or details can become extraordinary.
Matt graduated from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 2002 with a master of architecture. Thereafter, he joined BVH as an intern and collaborated with clients and design teams on projects with diverse scales, program goals, project constraints and design opportunities. As an active participant, he is engaged in the collaborative process from project inception and programming through building construction.
In addition to architectural design, Matt is inspired by diverse forms of music, art and movies and the voice and vision of the artist. He also supports local animal rescues and music organizations.
