Madison recently joined the BVH team in January of 2022. She grew up in Omaha, NE and attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she received her degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Studio Art.
Madison’s creative drive stems from over ten years of experience in Marketing related work. She has a passion for the arts (in particular graphic design and photography) and enjoys connecting with people in the community. Every conversation is an opportunity for growth. Whether she is touring an art gallery, attending a concert or simply going on a walk with her three boys, Madison is always inspired by the colors, designs and structures of her environment.
When she is not working, Madison enjoys cooking, doing arts and crafts with her littles, and listening to music (way too loudly). She can often be found doing all three at the same time.
What is your favorite place you’ve visited?
Dunns Lake, Minnesota. Growing up, my family would spend 1-2 weeks every summer at my grandparent’s small cabin in the middle of nowhere. We would fish, swim, venture out in the paddle boat, build forts in the woods and live off of hot dogs and s’mores. Yes, the water was green and the snapping turtles were insanely large but it was home to some of my favorite childhood memories.
What is your area of interest or research?
I have always had a passion for graphic design and photography. In particular, I enjoy capturing images of my children throughout the different stages of their lives.
What project are you most proud of?
Last year, my husband and I installed wood floors in our home (and we’re still married).
What is the most impactful thing you’ve learned over the course of your career?
Be kind to people. You never know what they are struggling with.
