Kacie joined the BVH team at the start of 2025. Originally from Georgia, she earned her Master’s in Interior Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2019. After graduating, she made the move to Denver, CO where she’s been continuing to shape her design journey ever since.
Kacie’s passion for interior design sparked during her undergrad years when she found herself drawn to the program’s vibrant pin-up displays. Surrounded by a family that was immersed in home remodeling projects, her natural creativity flourished. It wasn’t long before she realized that her true passion lays in shaping the environment by turning spaces into experiences.
Kacie is a music lover and avid reader—always diving into whatever book she can get her hands on. She also enjoys a fun roadtrip with her husband and dog, Apollo.
What is your area of interest or research?
My primary interest is human-centric design. Integrating into the design how people behave and use a space, community, and society.
What is the most impactful thing you’ve learned over the course of your career?
Don’t shy away from an opportunity. That’s the fun part about design—to create, to imagine, and to be bold.
What inspires you?
The people i am designing for inspires me. Getting to know them along with what they envision and need in their space to make them happy, is what makes being a designer so rewarding.
