Jennifer joined the BVH team in January of 2021. A Colorado native, Jennifer is one of the first members of the BVH Denver office. She is an alumni of Luther College—originally studying psychology—and the University of Colorado, Denver where she earned her Masters in Architecture.
Jennifer’s interest in architecture was fostered by her parents, who have been remodeling portions of their home every summer since she was a child. Exposed to multiple home remodeling projects, and countless episodes of This Old House, Jennifer applied this knowledge and traveled each summer throughout high school and college to renovate or build small houses—primarily on Native American Reservations and in Juarez, Mexico. Recently Jennifer has volunteered with All Hands and Hearts in Haiti and Louisiana participating in disaster recovery work.
Jennifer enjoys being part of the collaborative environment of a project team, working with clients, contractors, and the entire design team to reach a common goal—a successful project. In her free time Jennifer is studying for the Architectural Registration Exams but also enjoys tending to her collection of succulents, hiking, rafting, traveling, live music, and spending time with friends and family.
