Born and raised in Lincoln, Gabrielle joined BVH in January 2026. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Architecture from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. After graduating, Gabrielle headed west to Denver, where she spent a decade living and working in the mountains before eventually returning to the plains she calls home.

Gabrielle’s passion for architecture and interior design began at an early age, inspired by time spent alongside her father, a cabinet maker. Visiting construction sites with him sparked her love for envisioning how spaces come together. An early version of CAD and countless hours playing SimCity only fueled that curiosity, as she moved seamlessly from digital plans to three-dimensional creations built with Legos.

Outside of work, Gabrielle enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, often found rotating between volleyball games and dance performances. She loves to bake and is always happy to serve as the official taste-tester for her husband’s cooking. An avid traveler, Gabrielle is happiest exploring new places, cultures, food, and scenery.

What is your favorite place you’ve visited?
It’s hard to choose just one, but Barcelona consistently rises to the top of my list. I love the vibrancy of the city, the mixture of Roman and Gothic with Modernism and the urban grid of the city all layer seamlessly together. The Sagrada Familia is truly breathtaking and unforgettable. And if I’m being honest, I could happily live on manolitos from Manolo Bakes for the rest of my life!

What is your area of interest or research?
Workplace design is where my passion lies. I love partnering with companies to tell their story and bring their brand to life through their spaces. When designed well, a workplace can have a meaningful impact—from supporting well-being to shaping culture and attracting talent.

What is the most impactful thing you’ve learned over the course of your career?
Communication is key to success.
