Brooklyn Schacht joined BVH in 2026 as Marketing Director, bringing over 17 years of experience as a strategic marketing and business development leader. She holds an undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley and a law degree from Lewis & Clark Law School. A recovering attorney turned marketer, Brooklyn is known for driving business growth, building high-value client relationships, and translating complex business challenges into clear, compelling strategies that deliver measurable results.
After spending most of her career in advertising and marketing agencies, Brooklyn was drawn to BVH by the opportunity to focus her experience and energy on a single industry—and to work alongside people creating places that have a meaningful and lasting impact on communities. She brings an outside perspective to the architecture industry, along with a deep appreciation for the role thoughtful design can play in shaping how people live, work, learn, and connect.
Outside the office, Brooklyn is happiest outdoors with her husband, son, and dog. Whether hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, or kayaking, she’s always up for an adventure. She’s also a dedicated fitness enthusiast, avid reader, and traveler who loves exploring new—and preferably rugged—destinations with her family.
What is your favorite place you’ve visited?
London. I love being surrounded by its old buildings and layers of history. Everywhere you turn, there’s a story.
How do you engage with your community?
I support the arts, live music, and the artists and musicians who are working to make their communities more vibrant, connected, and interesting places to call home.
What is the most impactful thing you’ve learned over the course of your career?
It’s okay not to have all the answers. Some of the most meaningful work begins with saying, “I don’t know—but I want to find out.”
