Andru joined BVH in February of 2025. Originally from Templeton, Iowa, Andru attended Des Moines Area Community College before jumping over to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for his masters.

Andru’s interest in architecture started as a young child where LEGOs and exploring the farm reigned supreme. This is where he learned the tools to build, invent, and improvise solutions for various problems. He has always been inspired by cities and their sizable structures and solutions to improve on daily life.

Outside of the studio, Andru loves to spend time with his family, golfing, coaching his sons’ sports, and woodworking. We’ve also learned that he’s a wizard in the garden.
