LPS North Star Aviation & Technical Education Focus Program
Duncan Aviation partnered with LPS and North Star High School to create a unique Aviation and Technical Education Focus Program to expose students to the endless opportunities in aviation. The new addition includes three classrooms, community spaces, an aviation flexible shop area, and a classroom.
The North Star Aviation & Technical Education Focus Program provides students with the opportunity to interact with experts from the aviation industry and learn about the well-paying and unlimited opportunities that exist after high school graduation. The new hanger-style shop expansion means more realistic experiences with tools, trades, and equipment.
The facility is also shared with the Boys and Girls Club After School Community Learning Center Program. Administrators hope to partner with Duncan Aviation in the future to allow more aviation activities after school.
