Tessa became a part of the BVH team in the fall of 2019 following a cross-country move from Seattle, WA. This Seattle native is establishing new roots while bringing some of the Pacific Northwest to the Midwest. Tessa received a Bachelor of Fine Art in Interior Design from Washington State University in 2017. Her depth of experience includes a wide variety of commercial projects across the Seattle area.
Tessa’s interest in architecture is shaped by the intuitive and creative nature of design. Designing memorable and impactful spaces for people to engage in are what inspire her creativity. She’s especially interested in historic preservation where the existing built environment can be honored and adapted as time goes on, connecting the past with the future.
Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking, and eating her way through Omaha’s restaurant scene. She also enjoys live music and traveling to new places.
