Jade Fossler-Aherns

Intern

Jade joined BVH in December 2018, helping primarily with Drafting Support. While most of her childhood was spent in Lincoln, her early years were in Crete, NE.  Jade is currently attending Metropolitan Community College and will graduate with her Associates in Interior Design in May 2019.

The Interior Design program led Jade to a new appreciation for architectural structures and design flow, especially in commercial spaces.

When Jade isn’t working in the Omaha studio or attending classes, she likes to go bowling with friends and also helps her my significant other with local Pokemon leagues and tournaments.

What is the favorite place you have visited?
My favorite trip was Madison, WI because of all of the fond memories I had there with friends.

What is the most impactful thing you’ve learned over the course of your career?
On my first day, I was taught that one of BVH’s beliefs was the Sense of Wonder. It encourages me to think outside of the box to hopefully create that sense as I go forward with my career.

What inspires you?
Seeing others work and pushing myself out of my comfort zone to find something new and different.
