An Omaha native, Carson joined BVH in May of 2025 and is currently studying at the University of Arkansas at the Fay Jones School of Architecture.
Carson’s primary interest lays in graphic representation, with a strong belief in the power of clear, diagrammatic communication to effectively express ideas. For Carson, ensuring ideas are visually accessibly not only strengthens understanding but also invites richer conversations around design decisions.
Beyond architecture, Carson is a dedicated sports fan—especially of the St. Louis Cardinals and Green Bay Packers. You can find him golfing, hiking, and spending plenty of time outdoors.
What is your favorite place you’ve visited?
Seattle, WA
What are you reading/watching/doing/listening to right now that is inspiring you?
Right now, I’m watching Severance. I’m really drawn to the architecture in the show—it highlights how physical space can influence mood and explores the deeper meanings different architectural styles can convey.
What is your favorite building or who is your favorite architect and why?
My favorite architects are Morphosis. I admire the clarity and precision in how they present their work, as well as their ability to develop innovative and unexpected design solutions. Their projects consistently push boundaries while maintaining a strong sense of structure and purpose, which I find both inspiring and thought-provoking.
