Duchesne Academy Master Plan

Our team recently completed a 10-year Facilities and Grounds Master Plan for Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart in Omaha, Nebraska. Duchesne Academy is an independent, Catholic, college-preparatory high school for girls in grades 9-12. Additionally, Duchesne operates a preschool for 3-5 year old boys and girls.

Our masterplan work is intended to assist Duchesne leadership in aligning their facilities with their strategic vision mission and 10-year goals. Challenges within this project include maximizing the use of the campus’ unique, historic structures to allow for continued growth, and advancement of 21st-century educational models.

Within our master plan efforts, we addressed upgrades to classrooms, a historic Chapel, athletics facilities, performing arts and theater facilities, food services areas, and gathering spaces, among other things. The Duchesne Academy campus is landlocked and our team must provide highest-and-best-use recommendations for the future of the campus and grounds.
