Megan Peterson

Architectural Intern

Megan joined BVH in July of 2017.  Having grown up on a farm near Ord, Nebraska, she is currently a fourth-year student at UNL in the College of Architecture where she is pursuing a major in Architecture and minor in Landscape Architecture.

Megan has found a strong interest in the connection between mental health and architecture. She believes that architecture has the potential to both change and enhance the human condition, and views this is an essential aspect of the world we design in. She is also interested in the practice of sustainable design.

Outside of school and work, Megan enjoys traveling when she can, and experiencing and learning to navigate unfamiliar cultures, their languages and new perspectives. She enjoys anything to do with the outdoors, such as hiking, canoeing, skiing–really anything active. Her hobbies also include photography, playing music and reading.
