Alex Turner, Associate AIA

Project Coordinator

A native of Crete, Nebraska, Alex began his career at BVH in 2014 when he was looking for a smaller firm with an engaging, creative culture. His passion for architecture stems from a deep appreciation for how spaces can affect human behavioral and emotional responses while having a profound impact on day-to-day functions.

Additionally, Alex loves working on projects that go beyond impacting its users and have the ability to transform the community as a whole. He aspires to design museums, not just because of historical artifacts, but because of their representations of a city or a region’s identity.

When he’s not in the studio or on site, you can find Alex kayaking, hiking, biking, camping or doing just about anything outdoors. A natural explorer, Alex has travelled to Asia, Europe and Africa and intends to globetrot as much as possible in the future.
